Sun Valley Music Festival

Join us for a fun day in the sun at the Sun Valley Music Festival on July 11th, 2015 at AJ Jolly park from 2pm - 11pm! This event will feature the region's best in Bluegrass music. Food, crafts and kid's activities will be available as well.

Taste of Newport

The third annual "Taste of Newport" event is Sunday, June 7th rain or shine from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. The 600-700-800 blocks of Monmouth Street will be closed to vehicular traffic for the event. This event will showcase some of Newport's finest "tastes" while additionally enjoying live music.

Memorial Day

On behalf of everyone at Campbell County we would like to thank all veterans, past and present, who serve our Country. Your selfless commitment to our safety will never be forgotten.

In commemoration of Memorial Day, please be aware that all Health Department and County level offices will be closed on Saturday, May 23rd and Monday, May 25th. Offices will reopen on Tuesday May 26th.

Closing Eight Mile Road at KY 8 *updated*

The Road Department has to close Eight Mile Road at KY 8 for an emergency culvert replacement. The culvert has failed and is creating a sink hole in the road way. The estimated closure can be expected to last overnight due to the scope of the project. Utilities are present and must be worked around. We will do everything possible to keep the closure to a minimum.

 

*update* The repair work was expedited and finished sooner than expected. Eight Mile Road at KY 8 will reopen at 2:30pm

Player's for the Planet Electronics Recycling Event

Sunday, May 17th 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Newport Target Parking Lot *Open to all of Greater Cincinnati! Campbell County Solid Waste is joining forces with the Reds, PNC Bank and Player's for the Planet once again to hold the 6th annual E-Waste Recycling Drive here in Campbell County. This year's E-Waste Recycling Drive provides an easy way for Reds fans and residents of Campbell County to recycle ALL their old electronics in a safe and responsible manner. The first 200 cars will receive two free Reds tickets to a 2015 regular season Reds game while supplies last. To off-set the cost of recycling, donations will be accepted.
