Projects

New projects span the County.  From a transformational greenway initiative, to two state-supported Signature TIF projects, there is a lot to look forward to in Campbell County.

Ovation

The state and local government-supported Ovation will be a $1 billion dollar mixed-use development at the confluence of the Licking and Ohio Rivers. Ovation is forecast to generate 6700 jobs and $1.7 billion in annual economic impact upon completion.

Manhattan Harbour

Another Signature TIF project, Manhattan Harbour will be complemented by the most desirable recreational, cultural and lifestyle amenities. Plans include a marina, unique retail and restaurants, river walk, pedestrian plazas and a full range of housing choices. Offerings will include heritage homes, townhouses, urban lofts and an assisted living development.

Riverfront Commons

The exciting new $50 million Riverfront Commons trail project is a four-mile walking and bike path connecting Covington to Bellevue. The impact will extend to the economy, arts, culture, tourism and health.

NKU Town Center Project

A pedestrian-scaled, mixed-use “town center” style district is being developed on the south side of Nunn Drive at the campus gateway. At full buildout, the site is expected to feature new restaurants, retail space, market-rate apartments, a hotel, structured parking and great new public gathering spaces. The goal is to create a fresh new entry to campus that best addresses our students’ desire for walkable amenities, while at the same time enhancing our Highland Heights community. The north side of Nunn Drive will house an approximately 70,000-square-foot professional office building that will be occupied by St. Elizabeth Healthcare.

Technology Commercialization Triangle

The Northern Kentucky Technology Commercialization Triangle is a development plan that leverages the assets of Northern Kentucky University (NKU) to attract successful technology-oriented businesses to the 200-plus acres of land nestled among the beautiful communities surrounding the University.
