Incentives

The Campbell County Economic Development Office (EDO) oversees a comprehensive list of incentives to assist you in starting, growing, or relocating your business in Campbell County. We will work with our economic development partners to provide a custom and comprehensive incentive package for you and your business.


Commonwealth of Kentucky

The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development (CED) is the main point of contact for all State level incentives. CED offers incentives for new and expanding industry, small businesses, workforce training and more. Please click this link for an overview of Kentucky Business Incentives. Campbell County and Cities

The Campbell County Economic Development Office is the main point of contact for all County level incentives. The County offers incentives for new and expanding business, commercial property enhancement, Industrial Revenue Bonds (IRB), Tax Incremental Financing (TIF), and Property Assessment for Clean Energy (PACE). We will work directly with our partners in the incorporated Cities to provide a comprehensive incentive package for new and expanding business. Campbell County

Jobs Development Program (JDP)
If a company engages in an eligible activity, it must site/create a minimum new fiscal year payroll of $250,000 subject to the county’s 1.05% employee withholding fee (note annual wage cap: $38,667/employee). Please click this link for an overview of the JDP Incentive.

Property Assessment/ Reassessment Program (PARM)
This program only applies to commercial facilities, defined as a structure where the primary purpose and use of which is the operation of a commercial business enterprise and which is 25 years old or older. Please click this link for the PARM Application.

Tax Incremental Financing (TIF)
The County supports a variety of TIF’s throughout the County located in: Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, and Highland Heights. Please contact the EDO to learn more about the various TIF’s.

Property Assessment for Clean Energy (PACE)
The County serves as an Energy Property Assessment District (EPAD) to allow for the use of PACE Financing through Energize Kentucky. Please click this link to learn more about PACE.

City of Bellevue

The City of Bellevue, Kentucky, is glad to be able to offer several incentives to businesses and other property owners to help keep our community vibrant and growing. City of Dayton

The City of Dayton, Kentucky, is committed to the promotion of high quality development in the City and to an ongoing improvement in the quality of life for its citizens. Some of these efforts include: Property Assessment Moratorium, Jobs Development Incentive Program, Historic Investment Tax Credit, and Paint Partnership Program. The City of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, is excited to offer even more reasons why it’s good business to locate your business in Fort Thomas.
