Campbell County Police Department depends on your assistance to prevent crime and locate problems or violations in Campbell County. You may have witnessed something, have information about unethical or illegal behavior, criminal cases, or locations of wanted persons.   No information is too small or unimportant.   Call our anonymous tip line at 859-547-3101.

This number will allow you to give the Campbell County Police a confidential and anonymous tip about any kind of crime or suspicious activity that you or someone else observed. You can share anything.

When calling, please describe the location of the incident and any details you can provide about the person and the circumstances. An Officer will follow up on ALL tips you provide. No one will contact you or know who you are, unless you want us to.  Working cooperatively we can make Campbell County a safe community and improve the quality of life for our neighbors and ourselves.

 
Door to Door Solicitation


Any and all door-to-door solicitors within the unincorporated area of the county shall, before beginning such solicitation, be required to register with the Campbell County Police Department, giving their names, address, the firm by which they are employed, and the time during which they intend to pursue said occupation in county.  A permit must be carried on the solicitor's person while soliciting.  All students from local schools are exempt.

Homeowners should always request to see the Solicitation Permit and should the solicitor not produce the Solicitation Permit, homeowners should contact the Campbell County Dispatch to have a Campbell County Officer respond.

 

Project Child Safe


The Campbell County Police Department is participating in “Project Child Safe." The program provides free gunlocks to the general public in an effort to make homes with firearms safer and prevent needless accidents. Free gunlocks may be obtained, no questions asked, at the Campbell County Police Headquarters, 8774 Constable Drive, Alexandria, KY. Vacation Check Information


The Campbell County Police Department provides a free residential security check for residents that go on vacation or away from home due to work.  Residents utilizing the “Vacation House Check Program” can rely on a Campbell County Police Officer  to  visit their residence and conduct a foot patrol perimeter check around the home to make sure it is secure.  Once per shift, an Officer will inspect the residence for unlocked or damaged windows or doors, any evidence of forced entry or other suspicious activity, verification of vehicles left on the property, verification of any people found on the property, and any obvious mechanical malfunctions. 

This service helps in providing peace of mind for those that need to be away and adds an element of security while you travel.
